DEVISING 'I HAVE NO ENEMIES' AT BELCO ARTS

I spent the last two-weeks in an intensive development for a new Bare Witness show, I Have No Enemies, with co-devisers Brendan Kelly, Rachel Pengilly, and Ash Hamilton-Smith. This post-dramatic piece about surveillance, data, and digital identity has been incredibly fun to delve into. Much research, invention and play, and at the end of it, the bones of an 80 minute show - give actors time in a big empty space and it's amazing what they can do!

Much thanks to long-term supporters Belco Arts for the opportunity to get our hands dirty with the good stuff of making. We presented the results of the process to an invited audience and received some useful feedback for taking the project forward. We're committed to working it up to a full production in 2023.
